Idalia Guerra, PE, Project Manager at Civil Grade Engineers, provides the in-house horsepower for engineering solutions in water, wastewater, paving, drainage, channel restoration, and design. She successfully leads multi-discipline projects with support from reliable, specialty vendors, all with her direct leadership along the way. As a project manager who holds client interests as top priority, she is accessible and responsive when clients call.
Her vast experience includes project management with municipal utility districts (MUD) within the Houston area, land development for residential and mixed-use communities, hydrology & hydraulics, and structural engineering analysis and design. She served as project manager and the first point of contact for the City of Houston’s Capital Improvement Project, managing all phases of existing infrastructure projects and presenting additional capital improvement recommendations. Idalia also has experience in park design and trail integration within land development. For projects, she develops and reviews cost estimates, budgets, schedules and construction plans.
Idalia is experienced in software programs, including: AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and Microstation; Bentley WaterGEMS; HouStorm; and ArcGIS. She is an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers-Houston Chapter. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University.
